Wordpress Knowledge:

• Fundamental understanding of Wordpress ("WP") Development, API's, classes, and functions
• Experience slicing JPG or PSD designs into functioning client-friendly websites
• Knowledge and familiarity of common and best industry plugins for enhanced optimization and compatibility
• Practiced in building responsive themes compatible on all devices
• Able to solve plugin conflicts, white screen of death, role/compat issues, and other WP abnormalities

Development:

• Read/Write PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3/LESSCSS, and jQuery without an IDE
• Understanding of PageSpeed, basic SEO, AMP, high resolution support, schema.org, Open Graph, ect.

Work Standards:

• Able to handle multiple projects under tight time constraints
• Must be a team player working together with team; giving and receiving input and ideas
• Consistently professional, quick, informative, and layman while providing support for both complex and simple support requests

Even better (but not required):

• Comfortable using VI/NANO, WP-CLI, and basic commands for maintenance/management of Apache server
• Able to troubleshoot, install, and manage domains, SSL Cert's, DNS Zones, setting MX Records
• Experience using third party API's to create data rich widgets andor mini-apps
• Design savvy, front end or backend. (A major plus, mention and provide samples)
• Experienced writing or contributing web apps outside of Wordpress
• Personal Github profile with projects, or a personal portfolio
• macOS, Panic Coda 2, andor Abode Photoshop user
